In October, The Nightingale Group had the opportunity to collaborate with Drama Kids International to develop the EQ!UP program
Our Founding Partners Campaign is in full swing, with donations arriving by mail and through our online giving portal. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each of you who have joined us in this first fundraiser! Your early support is helping lay the foundation for the work ahead, and we’re excited to share a few of the initiatives moving forward.
We have submitted several grant applications and are looking forward to establishing our first corporate partnership. As we grow our outreach, we anticipate opportunities to introduce sponsorships and other ways for businesses to engage with our mission. In the meantime, monetary contributions help us build the foundation for our programs and expand our impact. If your company shares our commitment to helping enrich teen wellness, we would appreciate the opportunity to connect.
Our search for a community partner to launch the EQ!UP pilot program is also underway. We’re exploring partnerships with schools, faith-based organizations, and other teen-serving organizations throughout the Fort Worth area and beyond. One of EQ!UP’s greatest strengths is its flexibility: we can collaborate with existing teen programs in ways that complement each organization’s mission and objectives. We welcome conversations with groups interested in helping teens develop practical skills for navigating emotions and building healthier relationships.
We recently collaborated with Drama Kids in the Tampa, Florida area to workshop EQ!UP content. Our Executive Director, MaryBeth Koenes, brought two of The Nightingale Group’s scripts to two classes of student actors for review, rehearsal, and feedback. Their perspectives as both performers and adolescents were invaluable as we continue refining the material. We are grateful to Drama Kids for sharing their time and expertise, and we look forward to building on this collaboration as The Nightingale Group grows.
As we head into the holiday season, we have so much to be grateful for: our donors, our volunteers, our growing community of partners, and most of all, the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of high school students.
Thank you for spreading the word about The Nightingale Group and being part of this early chapter. Together, we’re building better relationships and making that mission possible for the next generation.
